Beaufort County Farm Bureau® is a member of North Carolina Farm Bureau Federation and thereby associated with American Farm Bureau. It is non-partisan in policy and local, statewide, national and international in scope. We represent farm operations of all sizes, management styles, and crops or products produced. The public policy position of Farm Bureau is set by the membership by majority vote at annual meetings of the membership.

The mission of Beaufort County Farm Bureau® is to advance the livelihood and well-being of farmers though:

1. community service activities — such as sponsorship of scholarships, safety training, leadership development 4H & FFA, Ag in the Classroom,  and other education related projects,
2. speaking with  a unified voice for farmers in public policy matters with legislators, regulators and various elected officials, and
3. member benefits — such as discounts on GM vehicles, Caterpillar and Case equipment, eyeglasses discounts, hotel discounts, and insurance.
